Kathy is a compassionate counsellor and the heart behind Blackwood Wellbeing Centre. In the rush of modern life, it’s easy to forget the moments that truly matter. If you’re feeling lost or alone, Kathy provides a judgment-free zone where you can express yourself. As a certified Mental Health Counsellor, she offers professional and flexible counselling services, addressing various challenges from anxiety to relationship issues.
Isabelle Stevens
Izzy is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor, her mission is to provide support to individuals on their journey towards mental and emotional well-being. She is committed in creating an environment where you feel heard, valued, and respected. She employs a pluralistic approach, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Victoria Nash
As an integrative counsellor and hypnotherapist, Victoria is passionate about providing tailored interventions to suit individual clients’ needs. She achieves this by creating a warm, non-judgemental space where clients feel valued and supported, to enable them to resolve their issues and achieve their goals.
Counselling and hypnotherapy compliment each other and are very effective with lots of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma and relationship challenges.
Victoria is a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and the National Hypnotherapy Society and is fully insured.
Lisa Lee
Lisa is dedicated to collaborating with individuals, guiding them to delve into their emotions and challenges, fostering a sense of autonomy, self-awareness, and empowerment. Using the human-existential method, Lisa uses a client centred approach respecting you as the expert in your life where you feel valued and heard.
Mary Watkins
Mary is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an accredited registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) She holds a diploma in Trauma Informed Counselling and has experience of working with clients who have suffered trauma, anxiety, depression and bereavement. With personal experience of mental health problems within her own family, she feels this gives her an understanding of her clients’ feelings. She has worked with several mental health agencies, gaining a broad experience of the different struggles clients may be going through. You can expect to be listened to with empathy and without judgement.
Mark Meredith
Kenneth Mark Meredith is a qualified Mental Health Adult and Child/Adolescent Nurse Therapist with over 22 years’ experience within the NHS. During this time he has gained significant experience treating adults, adolescents and their families with conditions such as depression, anxiety and panic disorders, trauma, OCD, self-harm and chronic stress whilst also providing therapy to those who require crisis intervention.
Nathan Fry
Hello, my name is Nathan. I am a BACP registered counsellor who offers client-led, person-centered counselling sessions that integrate elements of CBT and psychoanalytical modalities. The sessions are tailored to the client’s needs, aiming to
achieve progress efficiently without rushing, and provide a safe space for clients to
express, explore, and reflect on challenging issues. I offer general counselling.
Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy
Through hypnotherapy, clients are guided into a deeply relaxed state where they can access subconscious thoughts and patterns that may be impacting their daily lives. In this safe and focused environment, individuals work with trained hypnotherapists to explore underlying beliefs, manage unwanted behaviours, and cultivate positive change. With over twelve years of experience, Rae is a Senior Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. She is considered an expert in her field working particularly with those who are experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, anxiety, phobias, addictions etc working in a personal and professional capacity.
Life Coaching
Through a series of powerful conversations and personalised guidance, life coaching focuses on self-discovery, accountability, and empowerment to help clients gain clarity, set achievable goals, and take the necessary steps towards achieving their desired outcomes. Life coaching is a forward-looking partnership that inspires and motivates individuals to reach their full potential and live a life they truly desire.
Lina Jan
Lina is a trained psychologist and a certified Holistic Life Coach governed by the Association for Coaching. She is currently studying for a psychology-related postgraduate degree at the University of Exeter and is training as a Neurodynamic Breathwork Facilitator. She cooperates with her clients and combines her knowledge of the different but closely related modalities to tailor a holistic, bespoke coaching approach and package for each individual client.

Danielle is a qualified massage therapist and skincare specialist offering bespoke treatments through The Valley Revive. With over three years of experience, she provides a range of relaxing therapies including hot stone, Thai, aromatherapy, and warm bamboo massage, as well as facials tailored to your skincare needs. Danielle is passionate about helping clients feel refreshed, balanced, and revitalised.
Amber Thomas
Amber is complementary therapist who is currently working at Lush Spa Cardiff, but additionally working Blackwood wellbeing centre. She worked for Lush spa for about 3 years, before that she was self employed based in Penylan within Addiction Beauty. Amber wants that sense of freedom in her practices and to gain more one-on-one with her clients so she can cater to their physical and emotional needs.
Mo Wildridge
Mo is trained and specialises in holistic massage that can relax and ease stress during the business of everyday life. Providing an individuallistic approch, Mo considers the entire person, addressing not only physical ailments but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of well-being.
Mo’s massage style is intuitive engaging in a conversation about your overall health and expectations before collaboratively creating a unique massage plan for each visit.

With a great passion for Reflexology, Anna followed her dreams of assisting others with their own wellbeing. Taking an individualistic approach to each session, Anna is also expanding her approach to holistic wellbeing currently studying Indian Head Massage and will continue to learn new methods of increasing wellbeing.
